We need qualified teachers in each of our classrooms, but with collaboration between teachers and between students. There are excellent examples of collaboration between Irish schools and schools in foreign jurisdictions in the area of language learning. This is very valuable. Students can converse in the target language with native speakers. All of this is very valuable. I can understand the point around trying to access collaboration but we need teachers in our classrooms.
