All mobile phones, including the Cathaoirleach's, need to be switched off as they cause interference with the recording equipment. This meeting has been convened to consider Committee Stage of the Domestic Violence Bill 2017. On behalf of the Select Committee on Justice and Equality, I welcome the Minister for Justice and Equality, Deputy Charles Flanagan, and his officials.
