Let me get this straight for the members of the public who are watching. Until 2017 or 2018, the majority of the funding was sourced from taxpayers or other sources, including The Ireland Funds, the Atlantic gang and the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform. Ms Quinn's position was not filled by open competition by simply by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform. It could have been filled by anyone, not simply by Ms Quinn.
