Any shared services organisation is a major data processing service and the National Shared Services Office is no different. We are a major data processing service for the rest of the Civil Service. We hold a lot of data. We have a huge level of focus on data protection and security. It is not just on our IT systems but through training, heightened awareness and a culture of really strong data protection of all of our staff.
