Tracker Mortgages: Bank of Ireland
7:10 pm
Ms Francesca McDonagh:
Mr. Mason might want to add to that. It related to a period of financial crisis. We are in a very different place now in terms of the stability of the economy of Ireland and the bank. We are able to continue to fund and grow a very strong mortgage book which is predominantly fixed rate mortgages. Our view is one of value and working for what the customer prefers. We are very clearly of the view that for every variable rate customer out there, there is a fixed rate that can save them money.
