Tracker Mortgages: Allied Irish Banks

4:00 pm

Mr. Jim O'Keeffe:

When we receive a summary judgment, we are at the point of executing it and it could involve the repossession and disposal of assets. At that point we still engage with customers and continue to engage if customers come forward and seriously want to do so. It is unfortunate that at times we must reach that point before there is real engagement, but we remain open as we move through the process. As we see it, when we reach that point, in a lot of cases there is still an opportunity to engage, but for whatever reason the customer at the other end who owns the business is not willing to do so.
