Matters relating to Tracker Mortgage Examination and Consumer Protection Framework: Discussion
9:00 am
Mr. Ger Deering:
We have not gone far at all. Some are more advanced than others but when the tracker examination started, we put those complaints on hold. I cannot give any indication. If the Senator means that people will get their tracker rate back when he says genuine, that is a completely different question. By "genuine", we mean that people have a valid complaint that falls within the jurisdiction of my office. In those cases, when we take a complaint, it is a valid complaint but I could not speculate on the outcome of them.
