Matters relating to Tracker Mortgage Examination and Consumer Protection Framework: Discussion

9:00 am

Mr. Ger Deering:

We are trying to put in place a mechanism. In the normal circumstances, a complainant has to complain to the financial services provider. In many respects they have certainly complained. They have been through the process. We will accept the letter, the final response that the bank has given on their decision on the examination. That could be the final outcome. We will be anxious to move those complaints into investigation and adjudication as quickly as possible.
