This is not about raising awareness of self-defence techniques or anything like it. We are talking about kids being jumped on on their way home from school where someone pulls out a camera to video the incident and then puts it up on Facebook. I do not mean to be disrespectful to Ms de Bailliencourt, but not only is it happening, it is also very common. I have been shown numerous examples by constituents, as I am sure has the Chairman and the other members of the committee. That is what I am concerned about. Such content should be removed automatically from Facebook because of the distress it causes to the victims, primarily, and their families. I hear what Ms de Bailliencourt is saying about the efforts being made to raise awareness, but that is not what is happening in this instance. It involves bullying and assaults on children.
