The Irish College of General Practitioners, ICGP, is the professional body for general practice in Ireland. We thank the members of the Joint Committee on Health for the invitation to reflect on the planned expansion of primary care. I am the director of the post-graduate centre in the Irish College of General Practitioners, and a general practitioner in Newbridge.
