Is it the Minister of State's view that the DPP's office is adequately resourced? What is his view on the length of time it takes for decisions to be reached? We often hear on the news about files being prepared and sent to the DPP. Is the length of time it takes for the DPP to make a decision in individual cases regarding whether to prosecute dependent on resources? To what extent is the Minister of State satisfied there are adequate resources to deal with the volume of files? Has the volume of files increased? Is the workload much greater than in recent years?
