I see the point. In the 1960s, the bioethicist Dr. Leon Kass said on this issue that one cannot do no harm for a patient by making him dead. With regard to ethics, there are different views on how we reduce harm, minimise harm or avoid harm, just as there are different views about how we do good. This is what constructive social and political debate focuses on in many other areas.
