In line with an EU directive from 2007, this country has completed a nationwide study of every community that is at risk of flooding. More than 300 communities have been graded under the CFRAM study. Unfortunately, the insurance industry has taken a very cynical approach to the hard work that has been done by the OPW. It has used the memorandum of understanding under which information is exchanged to geocode areas in that study. I think that is a very cynical approach. I would prefer the industry to take a more open and positive approach.
