In Ireland, our medical ethics are based on that, with the exception, which is specified in our health policy, of pregnant women in cases where it is perceived that there is a risk to the foetus. Midwives and other representatives of our health service have told us that this has created a climate of fear in terms of the provision of medical care and so on and has coerced the medical profession into seeking a legal opinion on their patients. Is that something that the witnesses have ever come across in any scenario?
