Just in terms of the whole area of criminalisation, the need to decriminalise in Ireland has been a regular feature at this committee. Evidence has been given, across the board, from the medical profession that it has a real chilling effect on medical practice here. That does not seem to exist in the Netherlands. Is there any sanction? Basically, what the witnesses are saying is that it is criminal but it is not really so. It is only criminal if it takes place outside of a licensed premises.
