While we have to use statistics in evidence, in terms of comparisons, the Dutch model is quite different from the British one, which is the one with which we are more familiar here. The figure we have been given for Britain is 92% of terminations taking place at less than 13 weeks, while the figure for the Netherlands is 81%. I know that there is a very high number in Holland that take place at less than seven weeks but is there a reason for that difference? How would we explain that difference?
