Professor Pajkrt mentioned a very strong word earlier, namely, protection. She said there should be protection. I also believe there should be protection for the unborn baby. My concern is that when there is screening, such as in the UK, there are more and more incidences of abortion. In Ireland approximately 120 babies are born with Down's syndrome annually. They are loveable children. I have spoken to parent after parent, and not one would give that child up.
