Ms O'Connor knows this already but I need to really stress that our health service cannot function without staff. We have been bled dry of staff. There was an effort to take away the €20 million that was supposed to help with recruitment last year and this year, which in itself is not enough. Are there any intelligent financial plans to staff our health service because otherwise we might as well give up?
