I thank Professor Walsh. Those of us who have been to African countries would be very struck by the age of the missionaries. We have met people in their 70s and 80s and they do not want to come home because of the work they are doing and their commitment and loyalty to the people they have served. I thank the witness for coming before the committee; it was most interesting and stimulating. He has certainly given us much food for thought as we continue with the review of Irish Aid.
