Gardaí have serious problems getting information out of NAMA which probably hides behind privacy protections to avoid providing it. It is difficult for the Garda to get warrants to go into NAMA and access the information it needs within the agency. I can see that there is a conflict in that we are trying to protect privacy rights but we also believe that people working for public bodies should be held to account.
