In terms of the Bill and the current architecture around the District Court and the referee to the Circuit Court and the High Court providing a supervisory role, the Department last week said it would like there to be a pooled skill level at District Court level but Ms Farries feels that would be unworkable and would not give adequate protection to citizens.
