I am referring to a provision in data protection legislation. I am talking about giving the State the power to access somebody's information. What extra protection do journalists need that another citizen would not need? We know the Department's argument, albeit warts and all, and we know the Bill needs to be dramatically changed. What about bringing up the standard that would apply to everybody and not having a specific standard that would apply to journalists only? I know Ms Farries would like to respond.
