No one is arguing for State control of the media. I quoted Mr. Justice Murray's comments about the duties and obligations of journalists. I was asking the witness how he thought that duty and obligation to not invade people's privacy could be protected. He said that there is a code of conduct in the NUJ but not all journalists are members. Are there any other mechanisms that could be used?
