Lower Lee (Cork City) Flood Relief Scheme: Discussion
1:30 pm
Mr. John Sydenham:
This in terms of the overall approach. It is what we call the CFRAM, which is done on a river catchment area. It looks at the entire length of the river, the landmasses around it, the various courses and the topology to prevent what the Chairman has spoken about, which is that by fixing one problem one is not dislocating. This scheme is integrated. It is looking at all aspects of what happens in that catchment area, so it protects those areas upstream and downstream.
