Banking Sector in Ireland (Resumed): Ulster Bank
9:30 am
Mr. Gerry Mallon:
We looked at those cases. The important thing we have tried to do is to look at where there is causality, that is where the actions of the bank have caused these people to lose their homes, or where, had we acted differently, they would not have lost their homes. The number we have got down to is a small number and fewer than 14 or 15.
However, the numbers are still moving. We are still working through trying to identify where we have been at fault.
