I fully agree with the Minister about efficiencies. Regardless of whether a country's economy is booming, efficiencies should be on everyone's agenda. However, efficiencies are not enough to deal with the lack of personal assistance, community supports, etc. There would be better opportunity cost advantages for the health services and that is why I make the point about other Departments stepping up to the plate. There are people who cannot use local buses or the DART and who cannot get around or do things that are publicly available to others. That is a critical aspect to all of this.
