Yes. I was requested by the Garda Commissioner to carry out the audit and I furnished her with a copy of the audit report. I have been advised by the child protection unit in An Garda Síochána that a copy of the report was sent to the Policing Authority. I did not send the report to the Minister for Justice and Equality as I felt that, with it having been commissioned by the Garda Commissioner, it would not be appropriate for me to do so.
