On that point, Sports Ireland has said repeatedly that it is confident that the money it allocated to the OCI was used in an appropriate fashion and that any of the money that was used in an inappropriate fashion was money derived through corporate sponsorship. Is the Minister now saying he has evidence or concerns that taxpayers' money paid to Sports Ireland through his Department is not being used appropriately? What I am getting from the Minister here is that despite Sport Ireland's assurances, he has a major concern about the money. We will have an opportunity to tease it out later.

I would welcome the Minister's opinion on whether the funding provided through Sport Ireland for the past number of years was, as confirmed by the CEO, used for its intended purpose and for the benefit of the athletes.
