There are obviously differences of opinion. My own view is that climate change is real and is man-made. There are oceans of scientific proof of this and not only is it costing this State hundreds of millions of euro on an annual basis to deal with the accelerated level of climate change, but there are probably tens of thousands of people losing their lives due to climate change so it is massively important to take carbon out of the energy system and providing for carbon capture in nature. Solar farms are a really important part of that process and are far less invasive than the wind farms that have sprung up around the country.
