It is very generous of the witnesses to bare their souls to us this morning. It cannot have been easy. We hope that we will be able to act on what they have told us. They are all mothers. They do not seem to have been listened to a great deal by those in the system when they got into it. What helped or would have helped so that we can put that in the report and hear what they have to say? Each will have a different story, so I would like to hear from them about what actually helped or what might have helped had it been there, so that we can put those recommendations directly into the report.
