Mr. McCafferty has covered pretty much everything. Within the cohort of Airbnb or short-term rental, hosts have a wide gamut of experiences. Some people are renting properties for two weekends a year and others are renting for 360 days a year. Any attempt to regulate the sector will have to take such things into account. We do not want to discourage those who want to rent out properties for two or three weekends a year when they are away. We need to regulate those involved in full-time renting.
