In essence, €2 billion must be paid out to outstanding known claims. The best actuarial advice has indicated that will be the figure. Last year only €228 million, or 10%, was paid out. Without any new claims, we are saying that the cases on hand, at the rate we are paying them, and these people have already suffered a catastrophic incident, it will take ten years before the cases on hand as at last December are paid out. That is what I find unacceptable. The director general knows that I am from Portlaoise where we have had recent cases. I know that they are not all clinical indemnity cases but these will take several years.
