HSE Financial Statements 2015 and 2016
Clarification of Matters Relating to Meeting of 2 February 2016

Mr. Tony O'Brien:

I will return to the example I gave earlier. When this top-up issue first emerged, the organisation that was front and centre was the Central Remedial Clinic. We took some extraordinary action on that entity, it went through the wars and it has now emerged from them. At no point were the services to its clients ever curtailed, downgraded or jeopardised. It is now in the position where it has won some kind of an award for the quality of its governance processes at board level. We will see this through. We will do so in the interests of the clients, the service users and their families. This is going to be a robust engagement because it has to be.
