I want to be respectful here but perhaps there is a huge difference in how auditing is done in the public sector. I know that potentially internal audits might not be as robust. On taxation, I would have thought that, for argument's sake, that if one was doing an interim audit, one would get a statement from Revenue for each of those tax numbers. It is a very simple thing. It takes about two working days to do it on Revenue online. One puts in the number, request a statement and it comes out in the post.
