With respect to the witness and his position, I was a private sector auditor. If I had let this happen, I would have been let go long ago. I cannot go to my boss and say that the bank accounts are correct because the financial officer in the company told me so. The auditor has responsibility. If there is a limitation of scope in respect of any aspect of that work, then he or she is responsible. It seems that the witness did not discharge his responsibilities because these processes were not followed.

In terms of the audit committee meetings on 15 July 2015 and 30 September 2015, I cannot understand why this matter was not front and centre in view of everything going on in the background, . It was not even mentioned at the meeting on 15 July 2015. Why is that? Was the witness at the meeting?
