I move amendment No. 1:

In page 5, line 13, to delete “1 June 2017.” and substitute the following:"such day or days as may be fixed by order or orders made by the Minister, either generally or by reference to any particular purpose or provision, and different days may be so fixed for different purposes or different provisions.".

The original Bill proposed it would commence operation on 1 June 2017. Obviously this is not possible at this stage. Because of the complexity of the provisions in the Bill it is probably more appropriate to commence it by way of ministerial order.
