For the purposes of clarification, I welcomed the Minister's invitation to meet officials of the Department. We met once, at which point he was sending the information to the Attorney General for feedback. I respect the fact that there is a process and that we have to try to get this right. At the same time, however, we should try to move things on. I certainly do not want to attend another meeting without having the clarity we are seeking. At least we could then start moving towards Committee Stage. I hope we will hold a referendum in order that the people can make a decision on the matter.
