I concur with what Mr. Mac Giolla Bhéin is saying.
We completely agree and Mr. Mac Ghiolla Bhéin definitely has the support of this committee. In respect of what he has said about some of his work suffering, I think he is doing excellent work. There has been good promotion. I would have loved the opportunity to have attended a Gaelscoil. I have at least had the opportunity to send my sons to a Gaelscoil. Hopefully they will help me to improve my Gaeilge. There is a little more awareness and people are certainly embracing it more than they would have in the past. It is not too long since I was in secondary school, but even since then there is a greater appreciation of the language and an understanding that a person can come to the language at any age and learn and embrace it. The committee fully supports the work of the witnesses and the accepts the call for us to support their recommendations.
