What are the current arrangements? The option has ceased for the moment. The local people availed of the facilities for years. The college had a good relationship with the townspeople and people from the surrounding areas but they have been excluded all of a sudden. The local people depended on the college for facilities. The college is a public facility that has been paid for by taxpayers' money. People can no longer use the swimming pool, access playing facilities and the GAA can no longer access the facilities. The cessation of the arrangement is a strong attack on the long established and strong relationship that existed between the Garda and the people in the community. Has that relationship been sacrificed because of this matter that we are discussing?
