The rescue organisations are taking them in Italy. For example, there is LAV in Italy and CAGED NationWide and Birmingham Greyhound Protection in the UK. They are taking these dogs from Irish rescue organisations that cannot cope with the overspill of dogs on their premises or rehome them.
