I welcome both groups here today and thank them for their presentations. As Deputy Cahill has said, head 2 provides a basis for administrative sanctions as opposed to criminal sanctions for breach of the greyhound racing rules. Would administrative sanctions be sufficient deterrent to those in breach of the greyhound racing rules? The witnesses might also comment on the appropriateness of administrative sanctions as opposed to criminal ones.

They might give us their opinion on what nature of sanctions they would like to see the Irish Greyhound Board applying for welfare-related offences.
