Nobody would disagree with that. We cut the traffic corps in half during the austerity years, which was crazy. Cities like Warsaw in Poland, where alcohol has a similar role in society, produced a situation in which every driver had a one-in-two chance of being invigilated and subsequently noted a dramatic decrease. I am not challenging anything in that regard, but this small step might lead to lives being saved, so perhaps the witnesses should welcome it and support the Minister.
