I wish to confirm that there was a significant amount of dialogue entering into that arrangement. It was an area of activity where we had not been involved. There is obviously considerable demand for it. We are very much in the applied arts area within DIT. We are very much around performance. This particular company has a particular reputation in this particular area.

We went through a validation process and a quality assurance process with that company. Our colleagues in the college of arts and tourism worked closely to guarantee the quality of the provision. Certainly, it is a step forward because I am not aware that it is available elsewhere. Students would normally have to go abroad to pick up this type of education. It is now available in Dublin.
