On 16 May, a technical fix was put into the system so that it was no longer technically possible to issue the summons. At the same time, an instruction was issued to all district officers that any prosecutions in the system were to be withdrawn from the courts. From 16 May, a summons should not have been created and any that were created should have been withdrawn from court.
