It is my understanding that the Policing Authority was informed the day before of the details and on the morning of the press conference. While the press conference as ongoing, and while Assistant Commissioner Finn was outlining the information, the executive, the Garda Commissioner, myself and the others were actually in a meeting with the Policing Authority at that time giving them a full briefing. They had been given the documentation and we were giving them a briefing on that same day.
