I was a chief superintendent in Galway in the years the Deputy mentioned, 2006 to 2009. My focus, as a chief superintendent, was completely on the targets being set to reduce fatalities on the roads. That is where our focus was. To be honest, I was not aware until I heard the scheme had been stopped that there was any such system in the public sector and I never benefitted from it.
