I would like to interject to clarify the position in this regard. It is causing a lot of confusion around the country. Any of the offences linked to the GoSafe vans that are parked on the side of the road or the vehicles we use to detect non-intercept types of offences are not linked in any way to the fixed charge notice issue we are discussing here. It is a totally separate system. I can categorically say they are not linked.
