It was a complete oversight and the deputy commissioner has apologised publicly to the Policing Authority. It was notified to the Department and has since been notified to the Policing Authority. At a meeting with the authority in February we apologised to the authority members for the oversight. The material is being provided. As the assistant commissioner stated, it is still being gathered as such. As it is being gathered, it is being provided and regular updates have been provided by both the deputy and assistant commissioners. On Tuesday of last week, the assistant commissioner gave a comprehensive briefing to both the chairperson and the CEO of the Policing Authority on the issues arising.
