I would prefer the view of the Department of Finance. The credit union representative organisations before the joint committee on Tuesday last. According to one school of thought, a rural credit union cannot be assessed in the same way as an industrial credit union, to use Mr. Carville's term, or any other type of sectoral credit union. Members need to find out whether there will be movement towards tiered regulation. The question requires a "Yes" or "No" answer.
