The end-goal would be to have all work carried out on all vehicles saved on a central database to provide both transparency and accountability. Feedback from people in the trade is that there a need for regulation, licensing, rules and guidance in this area. We have too many people doing work from their homes, like changing brakes for their neighbours and so forth. In my opinion, the only way that this can be done correctly for all vehicles, to ensure that they are safe, is to have a record of everything. In that way, there is accountability and a paper trail for any work done-----
